- develop and select a suitable print design
- transfer your image onto a printing block
- handle carving tools
- register your lino block and paper
- roll the ink and how to pull relief prints

Linocut printmaking – a hands on workshop for all levels
Sunday 1st March 2026
Have an enjoyable day learning the basics of linocut and block printing techniques, creating your own monochrome prints (option 1); stay for longer and try a multi block technique to add more colours (option 2).
Option 1: 10.30am to 1pm £35 | £30 if you book by 1st February 2026
Option 2: 10.30am to 3.30pm £48 | £42 if you book by 1st February 2026
Tools and materials are provided. Suitable for beginners and those with some experience.
Age 18+. Older teens(15+) are accepted when accompanied by their parent. Spaces are limited.

Block printing on a T-shirt – all levels

10am - 1pm
Learn the basics of linocut and block printing techniques; design, carve and print your own unique lino block onto a t-shirt (BYO) or a tote bag.
All tools and materials are provided –bring along a light-coloured cotton t-shirt or smooth tote bag (dark or synthetic fabrics don’t print as well).
Perfect for beginners or anyone looking for a sustainable way to update their apparel.
